Drying Options

Standard Dry – Included
A regular tumble-drying cycle for everyday washable garments. Thick seams, waistbands and layered fabrics may retain slight residual moisture.

Extended Dry – Add $0.40/lb · $8 minimum
Additional drying time for suitable items that need more time than a standard cycle. Complete dryness cannot be guaranteed for every fabric, seam or filling.

Hang Dry – Add $4/item · $16 minimum
Selected items are hung to air dry instead of being tumble dried. Identify these items in your booking instructions and pack them separately in a clearly labelled bag. Availability is limited, and additional drying time may affect your return date.

Additional Care & Handling

Some laundry requires additional attention beyond our standard wash service. The following charges apply when extra processing is requested or required.

Heavy Soiling & Stain Handling: Starting at $10 per bag

For laundry with substantial dirt, grease, embedded grime or extensive staining that requires additional treatment or washing beyond the selected service. This is separate from the individual stain pre-treatment included with Signature Wash. Any additional charge will be explained and approved before treatment begins. Results depend on the fabric and condition of the items; stain removal cannot be guaranteed.

Disclosed Contamination Handling: $25 per bag

Separate handling for accepted laundry contaminated with urine, faeces or blood.

Disclose contamination before pickup, securely double-bag the affected items and clearly identify the bags. Acceptance is subject to assessment; items that cannot be safely processed may be declined.

Please disclose heavy soiling, extensive staining or contamination when booking. Additional processing may affect your confirmed return time.

Additional processing does not guarantee complete stain or odour removal.

ARA GARMENT CARE • SERVICE STANDARDS

Terms & Conditions

Immaculate care, complete transparency. We believe in honest agreements and plain-language service standards, ensuring your luxury garments receive meticulous handling without complexity.

01

Verified Weight Pricing

Final billing for both same-day and subscription orders are determined solely by verified physical weight upon intake and pre-approved service charges, protecting you from inaccurate estimates.

02

Authorized Add-ons Only

We respect your preferences. Additional services, heavy soiling & stain handling, or custom protective treatments are never applied without your explicit prior review and digital approval.

03

Bulky & Heavy Items

To guarantee proper structural care, laundry orders exceeding 60 lbs and bulky/oversized items (such as luxury duvets or heavy outerwear) require a custom quote.

04

Stain Treatment Limits

We leverage high-performance, fabric-safe stain lifting methods. However, we cannot guarantee absolute removal of oxidized, historically aged, or deeply set stains.

05

Hang Dry Capacity Limit

To maintain optimal air spacing and impeccable garment hygiene, our delicate hand-finishing and Hang Dry area is capacity-controlled and booked on a first-come basis.

06

Extended Dry Policy

To prevent heat damage and shrinkage to natural fibers, our low-heat extended tumble drying prioritizes safety, which may leave minor, natural trace moisture in thick hems.

07

Subscription Service Terms

Recurring laundry service is available on weekly, biweekly or monthly schedules, with each collection billed according to the selected plan, verified laundry weight and applicable minimum charge. Scheduled pickup and next-day return are included, subject to service-area eligibility, route availability and our subscription terms.

07

Pickup & Return Fees

A $9.95 round-trip pickup and return fee applies to same-day orders under $85, while orders of $85 or more receive complimentary delivery. Scheduled pickup and return are included with Laundry on Repeat subscriptions within our approved service area. Additional fees may apply to approved special delivery arrangements.

09

Service Availability & Scheduling

All pickup and return windows are subject to service-area eligibility and operational capacity. While ARA Garment Care makes every effort to meet confirmed schedules, unexpected delays due to weather, traffic or other circumstances may require adjustments. Customers will be notified promptly of any changes.
